We are now accepting expressions of interest from you to join our Safety Assurance team on a permanent full time basis.
As a Safety Assurance Advisor, you will assist the Manager to implement and undertake assurance activities to ensure internal and external operational standards are maintained. Key responsibilities include:
- Plan, coordinate, lead and assist assurance activities including audits and safety investigations, schedules and programs, across NHVR business units and operations.
- Work with employees, business units and managers to identify and establish appropriate safety assurance measures and mechanisms relevant to the work they undertake.
- Undertake assurance activities on NHVAS accredited operators, registered auditors, RTO’s and EWD Service providers ensuring conformance to the relevant business rules and standards.
- Provide advice and recommendations on safety assurance processes, tools and oversight.
- Provide specific safety management advice to the NHVR Safety Committee and other working groups as required.
- Conduct appropriate safety management research and analyse data, issues and trends.
- Prepare a range of complex documents including options analysis, business cases, reports, business processes and correspondence relating to NHVR positively influencing industry safety culture.
- Provide subject matter expert advice in identifying or conceptualising key Safety Management System guidance, tools, and advice for industry participants to help improve their safety performance.
- Research and develop appropriate Safety Management Systems tools, advice and guidance for industry.
- Build and maintain effective networks and relationships to assist in the development, implementation and review of safety improvement deliverables including policies and procedures, auditor framework, auditor code of conduct, and related guidance materials, factsheets, forms, and web information.
