Play an important role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for patients, staff, and visitors. As a Security/Orderly Officer, you’ll be part of a dedicated team ensuring the smooth and secure operation of the Health Unit, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a difference.
About the Role:
As the Security/Orderly Officer, you’ll provide a range of duties encompassing both security and patient care, contributing to the effective and efficient functioning of the Health Unit. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients in ways that ensure the safety and well-being of all, in line with hospital policies and procedures. You’ll also play a key role in managing and de-escalating situations involving aggressive or agitated clients, supporting a calm and safe environment for everyone.
Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll apply sound judgement, effective communication, and appropriate methods and equipment to support the safety, comfort, and dignity of patients and staff alike.
