MSS Security is seeking a Casual Security Officer to join our team at a distribution centre located in Smithton.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Respond promptly to emergencies and report incidents as they occur.
Monitor CCTV footage and radio communication systems to detect any security threats or suspicious activities.
Manage access control by verifying the identity of visitors, employees and contractors.
Write detailed reports following incidents, documenting any security breaches.
Conduct foot and vehicle patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
Ideal candidates will have:
Prior experience in security, particularly in gatehouse or access control roles is preferred.
A solid understanding of security procedures.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Requirements:
Full Australian working rights.
Valid Tasmanian Security licence.
Valid First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
Valid Tasmanian drivers licence or a reliable means of transport.
24/7 availability to work a rotating roster.
