This isn't just another job, it's a chance to be a crucial part of our Security Team, providing essential relief coverage for our primary Security Officers/Medics. Your primary position and department will remain unchanged, however this relief role offers a unique opportunity to diversify your expertise and play a direct role in maintaining a secure and safe environment for everyone at Harvey Beef.

About This Dynamic Relief Role

As a Relief Security Officer/Medic, you'll gain diverse experience and make a real impact by:

• Assisting with site access control and comprehensive security monitoring, including gates, CCTV, and patrols.

• Providing first aid and emergency support, working closely with the Injury Management Team.

• Responding to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, including basic fire panel operations.

• Helping to safeguard the well-being of both people and livestock on-site.

• Managing critical records and assisting with routine testing, such as alcohol and drug screenings.

• Ensuring compliance with all company, legislative, biosecurity, and safety responsibilities.

What Makes You a Great Fit

The ideal candidate for this pivotal relief role will be:

• Holding a valid Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certificate (or HLTAID003) or being willing to obtain one is mandatory.

• Possessing a current C Class Driver’s Licence.

• Willing to undertake additional training in security, emergency response, and drug/alcohol testing is key.

• Available to cover shifts promptly for Security Officers on personal or annual leave.

• Reliable, calm, and able to follow procedures accurately in high-stakes situations.

• Displaying excellent communication and meticulous record-keeping skills.

• Able to step into the role with reasonable notice, including during shift work.

•   Computer literate in MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Information Leader) and able to quickly learn new IT systems and software.

• Dedicated to maintaining their own health and wellbeing and ensuring the safety of others.
