Responsibilities
Working an 8/6 roster within the OHS team, the Safety & Training Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and implementing all Health, Safety and Training requirements across the project to meet Redpath and legislative standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and driving improvements across safety and training for the project.
- Coordinating all safety and training activities to ensure adequate resources are available to support operations.
- Facilitating and completing risk assessments, management of change and associated HSEQ system requirements.
- Maintaining and developing project-wide training requirements for all positions.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with:
- Extensive experience in Safety & Training within underground hard rock mining.
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent).
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
- Valid manual driver’s licence.
