As a Relationship Marketing & Events Manager, you’ll play a vital role in designing and executing relationship marketing events and initiatives that help to enhance the client experience and deliver strong ROI. You will have B2B marketing and event management experience, ideally within financial services or professional services sectors.

What you’ll do:
- Strategy support: Leverage data and insights (including event analytics and attendee feedback) to deeply understand client needs and behaviours to inform and optimise marketing programs and events. Actively contribute to the design and execution of client engagement strategies that enhance relationship strength, and drive measurable business outcomes.
- End-to-end implementation of programs and events: Work closely with business stakeholders to co-create and execute impactful programs and events, spanning large-scale conferences, virtual and hybrid events, workshops, boardroom dinners and sponsorship activations. This includes designing and driving end-to-end planning with multi-channel execution and overseeing all logistical components - venue negotiations, supplier management, onsite coordination, sponsorship activation, risk management and post-event activities.
- Project and budget management: Track milestones, budgets, and resources; maintain high-quality execution and timely delivery. Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best rates, whilst ensuring risk mitigation and event quality.
- Advanced stakeholder engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships inside PwC and with external organisations, to deliver joint events with business and industry associations, alliance partners and other strategic market stakeholders.
- Cross-firm collaboration: Work closely with marketing, brand, account drivers, business development teams, and client service teams to leverage opportunities and ensure an integrated and consistent approach to firmwide events, and sponsorship and membership activations.
- Performance measurement: Be responsible for critically evaluating return on investment of all marketing activities. Lead thorough post-event evaluations by incorporating data, attendee feedback, and business insights to assess success, inform continuous improvement, and deliver insightful reports or presentations to senior leadership showcasing impact.
- Marketing and communications oversight: Design and oversee communication plans, including social media management related to events, to maximise event visibility, attendance, and inclusivity.
What we’re looking for:
- Formal qualifications in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in event management and relationship marketing, demonstrating effective stakeholder engagement, strategic event design and execution (including large-scale, hybrid, virtual and multi-stakeholder events), sponsorship activiation, and client relationship initiatives.
- Deep familiarity with event management technologies including CRM tools (eg. Salesforce); event platforms (including virtual event platforms, attendee management systems); event analytics software, and emerging AI tools relevant to event optimisation.
- Exceptional project and vendor management skills, with demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end event logistics, negotiate contracts, manage risk and plan contingencies. Ability to lead cross-functional programs of work, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and deliver outcomes on time and within budget.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and influencing skills, adept at building relationships with diverse stakeholder groups including senior executives and external partners. Experience managing high profile event participants such as speakers and VIPs.
- Detail-orientated with excellent written and verbal communication skills. A commitment to professional growth, continuous learning and event best practices.
- Ability to thrive in high pressure environments and deliver on tight deadlines, seamlessly transitioning between strategic planning and execution seamlessly.
- Innovative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
