If you've spent your career building the foundations that keep critical platforms running — the cloud infrastructure, security posture, and data governance that enterprise customers stake their trust on — we want to hear from you.

This is not a supporting role. You are one of three leaders who collectively own Kinatico's technology capability. The CPO leads what we build. The Head of Engineering leads how we build it. You lead the foundation it all runs on. In a compliance business, where our customers trust us with sensitive workforce data to meet their own regulatory obligations, that foundation is everything.

You'll lead a focused, technically deep team — Cloud Engineers, Cyber Security Engineer, and Desktop & Application Support specialist — and work in close partnership with the Information Security Officer on our ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 programmes.

About you:

• You own your space completely — security and infrastructure aren't bolt-ons for you, they're the foundation you build everything else on
• You make complex risk legible: you can translate a threat landscape briefing into a clear conversation with a non-technical executive
• You lead security as an enabler, not a gatekeeper — the teams around you feel supported by your function, not slowed down by it
• You're calm under pressure: incidents and outages are part of the role, and how you lead in those moments defines you
• You invest in developing your team's independence — you build capability in others, not dependence on yourself
• You bring evidence-based judgement to governance decisions: proportionate, practical, and never bureaucratic for its own sake
• 8+ years in infrastructure, platform, or security engineering, with at least 4 years in a leadership role in a SaaS or cloud-native environment
• Relevant certifications highly regarded: CISSP, CISM, AWS/GCP/Azure Security Specialty, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
• Experience with AI governance frameworks and ISO 42001 is a strong advantage — you'll own Kinatico's AIMS program end-to-end
• Background in RegTech, compliance, HR technology, or other data-sensitive SaaS verticals is a plus

DELIVERING THE GOOD, STRIVING FOR THE GREAT

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Own and evolve Kinatico's cloud infrastructure strategy — scalability, resilience, multi-region availability, and cost efficiency across all environments
• Own Kinatico's end-to-end security posture: threat modelling, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security incident response
• Lead Kinatico's ISO 42001 AI Management System (AIMS) program — from initial accreditation through to ongoing audit maintenance and continual improvement
• Participate in the implementation of compliance frameworks for global expansion (ISO 27001, GDPR, data sovereignty requirements)
• Embed privacy by design across Kinatico's platform architecture and own the data governance framework end-to-end
• Own the TecOps and platform engineering function — the internal tools, pipelines, and environments that enable engineering to ship confidently
• Operate as a genuine peer to the Head of Engineering — jointly owning technical platform health and presenting a unified view to the COO
• Manage strategic technology vendors, cloud providers, and security tooling partners
• Support enterprise sales cycles with security documentation and technical due diligence
