An exciting opportunity has become available in our Vibrant Places team for a motivated professional to join us.
Reporting to our Events, Arts & Culture Team Leader, your role as Vibrant Places Officer is key to our success in delivering events, arts and placemaking activities across Port Stephens.
You will coordinate the delivery of Council’s civic events including Australia Day, NAIDOC Week and New Year’s Eve, as well as supporting the broader Vibrant Places team across community, economic development and placemaking initiatives.
You’ll also work directly with community groups, event organisers and internal teams to support the delivery of events on Council land - providing practical advice and guidance to help them create safe, sustainable and inclusive events in Port Stephens.
Please note; for the purposes of this recruitment, the title of 'Events, Arts & Culture Officer' has been used to match market equivalent. The internal title of this role is 'Vibrant Places Officer'.
