Your impact, with us
As our highly valued National Clinical Quality and Safety Manager, alongside our Chief Medical Officer you will lead Advara HeartCare’s clinical quality, incident management and workplace health and safety functions across a national ambulatory cardiology network. The position combines practical system-building with hands-on investigation, follow-up and improvement
You’ll make a meaningful impact by:
Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of Advara HeartCare’s clinical quality and patient safety program
Maintain national systems for accreditation
Maintain a consistent national approach to hazard and incident reporting across clinical and operational areas
Triage, coordinate or lead investigations into significant incidents and hazards
Manage WHS systems
Work closely with People & Culture to strengthen Advara HeartCare’s WHS processes and practical guidance across jurisdictions
Assist managers and teams with practical advice on obligations and escalation of Clinical Quality and Safety matters
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, nursing, allied health, quality, safety, risk management, WHS or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in healthcare quality, safety, risk and/or WHS, ideally in a multi-site environment.
Strong understanding of clinical governance, incident investigation, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
Working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and practical WHS system implementation.
Strong written communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
We would also love you to have:
Experience in private healthcare, ambulatory care or specialist medical practice.
Experience with non-invasive imaging accreditation or related diagnostic service standards.
Postgraduate study or formal qualifications in quality, safety, risk management or WHS
Knowledge of cardiology terminology and procedures
